All of Hesperian's books grow out of the interconnected health and empowerment needs and efforts of poor communities. Our collaborative book development process is at the heart of our methodology and connects us with a global network of knowledge.

Hesperian publishes all of our books in both English and Spanish and encourages translation into other languages. All around the world, our partner organizations and other local publishers deeply engage with our work, taking responsibility for producing and distributing our books in other languages, often with support from Hesperian. We also revise, update and reprint the English and Spanish editions regularly to ensure that communities have access to the most current information and methods.

In addition, Hesperian distributes several titles in languages other than English and Spanish, including HIV, Health, and Your Community in Vietnamese, Water for Life - Community Water Security in French, and Where Women Have No Doctor in Chinese.These titles are subject to availability.

If you purchase 5 or more copies of a single title, you will receive a 20% discount on that title. Or purchase one of our Book Sets and receive up to an 18% discount on the titles in that set. These discounts apply only to Hesperian's book titles, not our pamphlets, nor the titles on the "Health & Empowerment" bookshelf. These discounts will automatically appear when you order here.
