Give the Gift of Health !

Honor your loved ones by giving them a meaningful gift that will touch the lives of people around the world. Each year, Hesperian gets thousands of requests for books from health workers, teachers and others who want to care for health problems in their communities, but cannot afford to buy books. Your Gift of Health will help these people save lives and empower their communities.

Hesperian sends illustrated Gift of Health cards letting gift recipients know that Hesperian books were sent in their names to poor communities in Africa, Asia, or Latin America. We offer six different sets of books, based on which titles are most requested by health workers around the world. Download Order Form.

To order, simply click on the set you're interested in, click on "shopping cart" to pay, fill in the name of the person you are honoring in the "Shipping Address" and fill in your information in the "Billing Address."

If you would like to order multiple gifts to multiple people, you can do so on-line, but each recipient will require a separate order. If you wish, you may e-mail giftofhealth@hesperian.org with the names and addresses of the people to whom you’d like to send a Gift of Health. You can also call us to make arrangements, toll-free at 1-888-729-1796. Ask to speak to Leah.

Please allow 10 business days from the date we receive the order for your honoree to receive the card.

A Gift of Health represents a contribution to Hesperian’s Gratis Fund, which sends free Hesperian books to poor communities throughout Africa, Asia, and Latin America. The books described here are among the most commonly requested, but actual books sent will be based on communities’ expressed needs. Hesperian is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization and all Gifts of Health are tax-deductible.
